My mother is the most beautiful woman I have ever met.
And I really really hope she gets better soon.

We will now return to our regular schedule of art-prattle and pleasing creative diversions.

Your Mom IS beautiful and although you don't mention why you're hoping she gets better soon, I understand if you don't want to go into detail.

I'll keep hoping for her good health and speedy recovery along with you though.

Thank you so much. Let's just say my vacation ended right after the emergency surgery, and hers is going to be about 3 months longer. But she's a total trooper, she'll get through.

I can TOTALLY comprehend how emergency surgery can complicate your life - I hope she gets through it with (at most) minor discomfort. You don't have to thank me for my kindness, it's what friends do.
